MOSES Participation at the 10th International Conference on Applications of Advanced Technologies in Transportation.
In an effort to further enhance the dissemination of the MOSES project preliminary results and findings the WP 51 leader Dr. Yannis Pavlis of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki arranged the MOSES participation at the 10th International Conference on Applications of Advanced Technologies in Transportation (AATT) that took place in Athens during May 28th-30th, 2008.
It is considered among the premier international conferences for applications of technologies in transportation systems and took place concurrently with the 4th International Conference on Transportation Research in Greece. The joint number of registered participants was around one thousand, and there were several external visitors. The MOSES information stand was set at the heart of a conference room that was dedicated to poster interactive sessions, and was used for distributing the MOSES brochure as well as the first Newsletter. In addition, representatives from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki were always present during the duration of the conference for providing info and answering questions regarding the MOSES project (please, see photos below). The effort was successful given that hundreds of participants stopped by to receive information about the MOSES project.
